Sad News

Without going into a lot of details as I'm not ready to really talk about it all yet, I miscarried the baby yesterday (Friday). I wasn't in any pain, and neither was the baby.

I had a D&C yesterday evening and I was greatful that my doctor was the one to do it and I knew one of the OR nurses.

I was able to go home last night and didn't need to take any pain pills. Today the only pain I am experiencing is where they did the spinal block (in my lower back) and of course the sad heart. Please keep us in your prayers as we are going through a rough time. I go back to the doctor's in 2 weeks for a check up.

Thanks

Vitamins are bad!

Ok so I thought I would switch and start taking my vitamins in the morning. I thought that they were making me so tired in the morning (since I took them at night) I was having a really hard time getting up and moving. So I started yesterday morning. About 30 minutes later I got sick. I thought it was the waffles that I ate before I was leaving for my doctor's appointment.

Well today I got at 8:30 with my kiddo and we both had some toast for breakfast. I had my cappuicion to get me moving and then took my vitamin and my zyrtec. About 30 minutes later I was praying to the porcelin god again! SO! After speaking to the nurse at the doctor's office, she says I should try taking them at night. GAR but they make me tired!

I just can't win! I thought once you got past the first trimester, it was supposed to get a bit easier/better!? I fear someone if fibbing to me!

13w checkup!

I had my appointment this morning. Prior to going to the doctor's this morning the baby decided (s)he didn't like the waffles I was eating. Therefore I must expel my body of the evils! This was only the 3rd time I've been sick.

I talked with her about my concerns with the spotting and being overtired. She said that each pregnancy is different (duh), but that the spotting wasn't a good thing, but it wasn't a bad thing. I just need to take it easy and if it gets worse or I get cramping, I need to call or go to the ER. One day at a time thing! Still no nookie for mikie though. Poor guy.Pray for him!! LOL

So my next appointment is May 5th (cinco de mayo). So I'll be 16weeks then.Hopefully after that appointment we will get to schedule a ultrasound to figure out what we're having!

Keep us in your prayers. Everyday is rough it seems.I just don't feel good and I'm always so tired!

Lane's new bigboy bed!

We have been looking for a new big boy bed for lane! He was just getting too big and too rough for his toddler bed. It was one of those that converts from the crib. I was afraid he was going to ruin the crib! So I've been going to yard sales and looking for a bed. I had some ideas on what I wanted to do in his room to "jazz it up" a bit for him.

Well we were in longview and I saw this "America's finest furniture" discount store so I said something to Mikie about running in there. We found a couple beautiful bedroom sets for ourselves when/if the time comes. We went to the back and I saw this perfect bed for lane. It's kinda like a loft bed, but not nearly as high. It has a slide and a "camo tent" underneathe. The price was good and lane loved it. So lane has this new bed that's really cool. The metal is a cameo green color. The bed "skirting" that creates the tent is the green cameo and it's totally perfect. It's the kind of bed that any little boy wants. Mikie said this was the kind of bed he wanted when he was a kid. Lucky lane! So we bought the bed Saturday and put it together. He totally loves it!

Now he just needs a bigger room for his bigger bed. We didn't think so much of the size on the bed we bought at the time. It takes over his room! But what else does he need in there other than his toy box and his dresser? It's perfect, it didn't cost an arm and a leg and he sleeps on the bed!

Sunny Meadows preemie blanket!

Here is the Preemie Sunny Meadows baby blanket. I used Red Heart baby soft. I don't remember the color name as it is discontinued and it was a skein I bought when I first started knitting! I used the waffle stitch which is very easy but I think adds a bit of texture and depth to the blanket. I will be mailing it off tomorrow! Karen should be the last knitter! I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Beautiful!

Casted on my seriously? Socks!

I am using the tutorial that Silver has on her website for 1 toe up sock on two circular needles. So far so good :) This is my seriously? sock yarn. I am hoping to get them done for the premiere of Grey's on the 24th. I haven't had any problems and silver's tutorial is perfect, as always :) After this pair of socks is done, I'm going to do the two toe up socks on 1 circular needle. I feel like I need to atleast try different methods, for my own knowledge!

12 weeks and exhausted..

I hit 12 weeks today. I got up and ate breakfast and intended on going to church today. But I fell back asleep on the bed while trying to get motivated to shower. I finished the last of my progestrone on Thursday night and today I feel like I've hit a road block. I know it's my body trying to adjust to the lack of hormones now since they were so high for 30 days. Ugh. I was hoping things would start to get better at 12weeks. I wanted to enjoy the pregnancy!! Maybe tomorrow will bring a better day.

Seriously in love with seriously? Sock yarn !

I received my seriously? Sock yarn last week. I LOVE it. It's so beautiful! I showed it to my hubby who thought I was totally crazy. I tried to explain to him what each of the colors ment and he rolled his eyes and said "don't you have a bag full of sock yarns?" Uhm yes I certainly do but this one is dyed after Grey's Anatomy!!!! I was so thrilled and I just got the "rolls eyes, ok if you say so " look. Ahhh I love my hubby. He just hasn't got the appreciation for beautiful yarn! One day!

Chairty Baby blankets galore!

Here are 3 charity baby blankets I've been working on. The top two are log cabin blankets. The bottom on is called "Easter Basket". I did the waffle stitch on that one. They are on their way to the next knitter!
