Yesterday I sat down and knitted my part of the logcabin baby blanket. I took some pictures and I'll try to get them posted later. I used the dustry rose, which is the same yarn I used in my orginial square. It looks really pretty next to HollyP's blue. It took me about an hour and a half to knit up. It will be ready to mail on Friday!
I've been working on my knitpicks afghan. It's coming along nicely. I think it will be really pretty once it's all complete! I can't wait to snuggle up with it.
I also plan to go visit my nana today to see if she has a size E crochet cook so I can do the trim on my combo corset-T and add my buttons. Then I can be finished with my first garment, well not including the comfort shawl.
So I'm excited. Projects are coming along and I might be able to wear the corset-t once it gets a bit warmer outside! I hope it looks as nice on me as it does on the table! *giggle*

Ok or not to knit the Palindrome hat!
LOL I got all my stuff together and realized I didn't have any size 8 DPNs?! GAH> I thought I had some. I tried to cast on using my Denise's using a circular but it's just too tight to knit! I haven't learned the magic loop knitting yet. BUGGER!
Ok so this project is now on hold! It's NOT a UFO because technically it's NOT on any needles! *giggle*
It's ok. It's supposed to be 70 tomorrow!

Palindrome Hat!
I was TRYING so hard not to start any new projects, but to finish some of my others. Well it's been so cold lately and after having the flu all week, I decided I would do a smaller project. I'm going to do a palindrome hat. I'm using the pattern that silver has on her website. I'm using the Yarn "Patons: Decor". I"ve never used it before but it feels soft! The colorway is: 01699 Sand Castle Varg.
I'll post pictures once I get moving on it!
I also have the logcabin baby blanket square that HollyP knitted on. I need to do my 6 inches on that as well.

PS. Still not feeling better. Fever is still going up and down. The cough is horrible. It's making my asthma so bad!

Update.
Ok I need to work on posting again. Life just get so crazy sometimes! I finished the prayer shawl for my nana. She loved it. I thought she was going to cry. I explained to her that it wasn't a "prayer" shawl, because usually that is given to people that need prayers, for health issues and such. Nana is 73 years old. I told her we'd call it a "comfort" shawl. When the days/nights get rough, she can go into her room, and wrap herself into it and she will find comfort. I think she was pleased.
I have been knitting on some charity items again. I did a part on the Mexican Fiesta Charity blanket. I chose the moss stitch in bright orange. I have also started a sqaure for the log cabin baby blanket project. I knited that in stockinette stitch in dusty rose. I received the next square in the series to knit on.
I have been working on my afghan from knitpicks. It's easy and I really enjoy how it's coming along.
We have all been sick here with the flu. We have been miserable. UGh what a horrible virus! Lane is finally feeling better. I hope tomorrow is a better day!
I bought some buttons for my combo corset- T. I am not sure I'm happy with them though. After talking to my mom she suggested a different kind. I may go back and buy new ones. We'll see :) I still need to rewatch the Knitty Gritty episiode to learn to do the crochet edge and the button holes.
So that's good enough for today. Here's to a better day tomorrow!
